On monday me and nathan went to the woodwork shop to start working on our little projects to do in our spare time at lunch and after uni when we have nothing to do, we spoke to the main guy there and told him about our idea and he gave us an off cut to test our idea, we couldn't go in there at the time tho due to an induction taking place and so we had to take it home for the day, luckily Todd took the off cut cos he lives closer and we are very thankful to him.
Tuesday Todd brought the off cut we had into uni and me and Nathan went after uni and we managed to cut the Off cut sawn into 4 pieces as it was big enough, we then got some wood glue and stuck 2 of the cut pieces together and then the other 2 so we have 2 thicker pieces of wood to start working on our Bokkens, once glued we left them over night clamped, so we can start working on them today. I checked the pieces this morning and they have set really well and i cant wait to start working on them later today.
I will upload pictures of the project as it progresses and i will give details of the wood and tools we are using to create the bokkens, if u have any questions feel free to ask.
